It has excellent heat resistance and convection – and can be used over direct flame for a variety of nabemono cuisines, stews, as well as for cooking rice.This is a special edition bankoyaki clay pot produced by Saji Kiln that features choju-giga, a famous set of painted scrolls belonging to kozan-ji with lively and whimsical depiction of frolicking Japanese folklore animals (monkey, rabbit, tortois) drawn in linear monochrome.
